Special Days is an Uddingston based company that has been established for 11 years creating Scotland's most distinctive and beautiful wedding cakes.
Michael Burns started making cakes when he was only 15 and served his apprenticeship with Tunnocks in Uddingston making wedding cakes until the wedding department closed its doors.
Michael decided to strike out on his own and today has one of the best displays of wedding cakes in Scotland with over 70 designs on display.
Special Days is renowned for making traditional, modern and fun wedding cakes and have made cakes from traditional royal icing cakes to the much admired Helter Skelter. The cakes can be made from traditional fruit cake, sponge, chocolate sponge or carrot cake.
Michael guarantees not to be beaten on the quality of his product or the craftsmanship in every cake and prides himself on giving every customer a first class service.
