Terms and Conditions of Sale
Nothing contained within these terms and conditions affect your statutory right as a consumer.

Payment and Pricing:
We accept payment by Visa, Delta, Mastercard, and Switch cards. All card transactions are carried out on our behalf via Paypal. When you  pay by card, you will be re-directed to Paypal’s secure website before you enter any card details. We treat security with the utmost of importance.

Customer Service:
Special Days Cakes can be contacted during normal working hours (9.30am - 5pm Monday to Saturday). Please see our contact us page for more information.

Cancelling and Returning an Order:
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery. Except where we say otherwise, you must return the goods to the point of dispatch within a reasonable period of cancellation.

Exceptions: Perishable food and goods must be cancelled before we dispatch them.

Under UK and EU law you have a right to change your mind about a purchase made over the Internet in accordance with the above conditions. Except where otherwise stated or unless the goods are faulty, you will be required to pay the costs of returning the item to us – please keep proof of posting of your items.
If you wish to cancel an order, please notify us as soon as possible as we can only cancel an order providing it has not been dispatched by us.

Stock:
All goods remain the property of Special Days Cakes until payment is made in full.
Please note that all products and descriptions are accurate at the time of publishing, however there may be the very rare occasions where items are out of stock. In this case, we reserve the right to replace items with those of similar or higher value if for any reason any stock is unavailable at the delivery time required.

Some products carry age warnings regarding suitability for children under 36 months. It is the recipient’s responsibility to adhere to these warnings.

Complaints:
If you feel that your order is unsatisfactory, that we have made a mistake or have any other complaint then please feel free to contact us using one of the methods listed on our contact us page. Address your enquiry to Michael Burns, and we will endeavour to solve the problem.

We will respond to all complaints within one working day, usually the same day, and aim to resolve all complaints within two working days. Any customer details passed to use are kept confidential and you will be kept informed of the complaint process.
